At Adrenaline we love to work with clients who have amazing products so when we were asked to work for Baufritz, one of the Europe's most innovative eco-house 'builders', it caused much excitement amongst the team.

Baufritz adopts a radically different approach to the development of new homes as they design, manufacture and build ecologically friendly homes to create a healthy living environment. And what’s more the new houses are individually designed and combine stunning looks with luxurious specifications inside and out.

Adrenaline was approached in early 2007 to provide marketing materials and large format exhibition materials for the Grand Designs Live show at Excel London. As a company, Baufritz have a long established reputation in Germany and mainland Europe, so the high profile Grand Designs Live show offered a excellent opportunity to highlight the company's newly established UK operation.

Rather than settle for the traditional trade stand, the Baufritz team decided to exhibit on a much larger scale and in an amazing 3 day period built a carbon positive house at the main entrance to the arena. High profile promotional outdoor hoardings were then used to display facts about the house as visitors queued to see inside the house.

The results:

With over 40,000 visitors to the show many took time to visit the Carbon Positive House. Amanda Politzer, Baufritz's Marketing manager, summed up the shows' success "Building an entire house in only 8 weeks presented a huge challenge for us. The Grand Designs Live event is the UK's most prestigious and well attended design show and therefore it is the ideal platform for building our brand in the UK. Given that one of our closest rivals had build a house for the show village in the previous two years, we had to create a spectacular showcase to raise the bar and clearly define our USPs."

"It was a pleasure to work with the Adrenaline Team as the deadlines for the event were tight and our team were busy managing the build and dealing with the media. We required a company with excellent creative flair and project management skills to ensure that the marketing materials reflected the quality and style associated with Baufritz homes and of course arrived to schedule. The result was outstanding with the visual materials created by Adrenaline providing a real 'wow' factor that is vital to build brand awareness at a show such as this."

Following this success Adrenaline was commissioned to develop a new UK website for us to follow through with the refreshed brand identity we launched at the show. The new website has been very well received by our customers and has resulted in an increase in traffic of more than 400% which has also reflected in the number of online requests for our catalogue.

Adrenaline has since been asked to develop further marketing materials for Baufritz throughout 2008 including a new advertising campaign, brochures and invitations.
