Adrenaline was commissioned to design and build and new online presence for The Cresset, a Peterborough-based community hub. The site required a new creative look (including copy writing and photography), a total back-end rebuild featuring simplified navigation, easy-to-use CMS and integration into online ticket booking system.

“The Cresset based in Bretton Peterborough has over the years faced many challenges. As an out of town venue marketing the Cresset’s full range of facilities has always been a challenge. It was decided in the latter part of 2008 that a radical overhaul of the Cresset’s website would have to be instigated in order to form the spearhead of a more target digital marketing campaign.

Initially 3 agencies were considered for the redesign and after meeting with them the panel’s consensus as to whom they favoured to work on the relaunch on the website was quickly formed. The favoured agency unanimously was Adrenaline Creative.

The panel was impressed with both the quality and the content of the initial design concepts, but also more importantly, how they were able to imagine a theme that would be broad enough but also specific to encompass the Cresset’s services without making the website cluttered and confusing.

Adrenaline’s concept that the Cresset is there for the people of Peterborough and its wider community has helped to alter the public’s perception of the Cresset. This powerful design theme which resonates through the entire website, has repositioned The Cresset as Peterborough’s premier venue.

This increase of visitors to the website and the increase in ticket sales all stems from the relaunch of the website. Since the relaunch Adrenaline Creative has helped the Cresset increase visitor traffic to our website by around 250%.”
